Thankful

Well our family was blessed this Thanksgiving a couple of days early. My sister Teresa's daughter Ashley (my Godchild) was out here for Thanksgiving and her baby showers (her baby was due Jan 22) and she went into labor in San Luis on Tues. She was already a 7 1/2 when I got the call that afternoon and she delivered a 3 lb 12 oz, 16 in baby girl at about 11pm that night. Her name is Sienna Nicole and she is doing great. There wasn't any room at Valley Childrens in Madera so she went to San Jose's Childrens Hospital and Ashley and Justin (dad) are very happy with the treatment there. She is already sucking on a pacifier and they are giving her what Ashley is able to pump. They expect here to be able to come home around Christmas! Hopefully I will get to go see her later this week. They think that Ashley's placenta may have had an infection and that induced labor, but I just figure at least she was her and in ten buck two Wyoming!!! Sorry Teresa!!

Other than that, our Thanksgiving was good. We switch off each year so this year was with the Bettencourt family. We were all at my sister Renee's house, which is where Thanksgiving has been since I was about 12, except for those stupid years they decided to move to Wyoming! Anyway it was great and of course the food was great.

I had been sick since Sunday and Thur was really the first day that I felt good all day. I had a procedure done last Thur for a crown prep and I had pain meds because they had to cut and stitch my gums, so, I didn't feel the sinus infection and ear infection that I got while on the pain meds. Anyway, by Sunday I had an inner ear infection and felt like I was drunk any time I tried to stand or sit up. We were at the beach and I was tring to load the trailer and thought maybe Manuel was messing with the jacks and rocking the trailer, but he wasn't. Well at least I got out of helping him load the trailer!!!! I had to go lay down in the excursion with Hannah!!! I pretty much laid in bed and on the recliner Mon, Tues and Wed.

Our poor little Hannah has had 2 eye teeth and one mollar poke through this week! So, on top of my being sick she is cranky and stuffy and has a nasty cough too!!!!

Manuel had and earache!!! And Theron is perfect!!!!

Theron and I put up the decorations outside today, we were gonna do the tree tonight, but he was asleep in my bed with Manuel by 8:00pm!!! I guess I have the house to myself!!! To bad I have been sick and no one knows how to pick up around here but me!!! So, it's off to straightening I go for the evening. Somewhere in my kitchen I think I have a wonderful BIG bar, but I can't seem to find it under all the junk!!!

Okay, I'm off to play Cinderella in the kitchen!!! Everyone take care!!!

Hi everyone!!! I have wanted to try a Blog for sometime but just never got around to it. Since it is so hard to see everyone, plus some of us live pretty far away, I thought this would be neat to try. Not that I have an extra minute, and not that you have an extra minute to stop and read this, but oh well!!!

Today was Theron's last soccer game!!! Hurray!!!!! Stay home all day on Saturdays now and I don't have to go to town on Thursdays anymore unless I want to!!!! Except we are going to play in the Cotton Classic the first weekend in Dec, but only one or two practices in between. They were 9 and 1 this year!!! They played great games. Theron played all over the field, but he really enjoys goalie. I am bummed because my wonderful husband talked him into trying peewee football next year!!! Oh well, I always said my kids would chose their sports and that is what he wants. He also wants to play Basketball this winter, so we might be on to that next!!!

Hannah is wonderful!!! She has such a personallity!!!! She is constantly making us laugh!!! She makes the funniest little faces when she is up to something and she knows when she shouldn't be doing something, but does it anyway!!! Man, she is quick at dropping things when she gets caught in the act!!! Her favorites these days are Theron's room and the drawers in my hallway!!!

Okay, enought for my first time, I need to go clean my kitchen and my bedroom that looks like a laundry room slash scrapbooking table!!!
